MOUNTAINS, LAKES AND RIVER ESTUARIES

The southern area of the Snowdonia National Park contains the ridges of Cader Idris and the rocky, isolated Rhinog Mountains. These rugged mountains are separated by the stunning estuary of the River Mawddach.
